Important Information
Audio/Visual Requirements: Ed uses a Windows based notebook computer to run PowerPoint. He needs an LCD projector and screen (for concurrent sessions, 12 foot width minimum. For general session, 20 foot width minimum). He needs a 48 inch round or square table at the front of the room for his computer. Ed also uses a wireless lavaliere microphone as he prefers to move about the room freely.
Program Customization: Through his interview process, Ed endeavors to help his audiences feel comfortable listening to him. Through knowing a bit about both their every-day business life and specific industry-wide challenges, he targets his comments to their specific need. He reads your industry publications (when you provide them) and talks to movers and shakers. Sometimes he will visit a member business or facility in Southern California or while traveling.
Presentation Style: Combining high-content with playfulness, Ed’s style is what he calls Edutainment. He is comfortable with a wide range of audience demographics and diversity. Ed is comfortable presenting to any number: 2, 20, 200 or 2,000. He adjusts audience participation and interactivity to the size and situation based on the desires of his client.
Dress: Ed dresses for the occasion; business suit, black tie, casual in a polo or aloha shirt, or themed vest for additional entertainment value. Let him know and he will accommodate your need.
Handouts: Since Ed uses PowerPoint, he will provide you with the handout version of his presentation. You can receive it hard-copy through the mail or electronically via e-mail. You may reproduce as many as you wish.
Travel: Ed travels from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for venues out of Southern California.
Lodging: Please reserve a hotel room billed to your master account. Ed prefers king/non-smoking whenever possible.
Deposits: A deposit of 50% of the speaking fee will lock-in your desired presentation date.
Reimbursement: Ed will bill for his travel and lodging expenses immediately following your event.
Presentation Time: Ed does not present during meal functions.
